Kaveh Akbar founded and edits Divedapper, a home for interviews with the most vital voices in contemporary poetry. His poems have appeared in Poetry, Tin House, Narrative, and elsewhere. His debut poetry collection, Calling a Wolf a Wolf, will be published by Alice James Books in 2018. He holds an MFA in poetry from Butler University. Akbar was born in Tehran, Iran, grew up in Warsaw, Indiana, and currently lives and teaches in Tallahassee, Florida.
