Stacey Lynn Brown
Stacey Lynn Brown was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and studied at Emory University, Oxford University, and The University of Oregon, where she received her MFA. A poet, playwright, and essayist, she has received grants, residencies, and awards from The Indiana Arts Commission, Ucross, Hambidge Center for Creative Arts, New Southerner, and the Key West Literary Seminar.
She is the author of the book-length poem Cradle Song, and is the co-editor, with Oliver de la Paz, of A Face to Meet the Faces: An Anthology of Contemporary Persona Poetry. Her new collection, The Shallows, grapples with illness and its aftermath. She teaches creative writing at Indiana University in Bloomington. |
