Samrat Upadhyay
Samrat Upadhyay is the author of five novels, including Arresting God in Kathmandu and Buddha’s Orphans, and a story collection, The Royal Ghosts. The recipient of a Whiting Writers’ Award, the Asian American Literary Award, and the Society of Midland Authors Book Award, he appeared on BBC Radio and National Public Radio. He lives in Bloomington, Indiana, where he teaches creative writing at Indiana University.
